Privacy questions
Read the Privacy Policy and the article What Happens to Your Files When You Use an Online PDF Tool?. The short answer: your files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Common issues
The tool does nothing when I click the button
Check that you selected a file and filled in the required options (like a page range or password). Error messages explain what's missing.
A file fails to open
The file may be damaged or not a valid PDF. Try opening it in a PDF viewer. Some encrypted files need to be unlocked first.
Processing is slow
Heavy operations (OCR, strong compression, large renders) run on your device. Close other tabs and try a lower resolution setting.
The output looks different from the original
Some tools change the document (compression re-encodes images, flattening rasterizes pages). Check each tool's limitations section.

Most issues are resolved by updating the browser or disabling interfering extensions. See Browsers Supported.
