Summary
- FreePDFToolbox is a static website. There is no backend server, no database and no user accounts.
- All PDF processing runs locally in your browser using client-side libraries.
- Your files are never uploaded, transmitted, stored or shared.
- We do not run tracking or analytics scripts by default.
Files you process
When you use a tool, the file you select is read by JavaScript running in your browser. It is processed on your device and the result is offered back to you as a download.
Your files are not sent to any server. This is a technical property of the site's architecture, not a policy that could change at runtime — the code contains no network calls that carry your documents.
Data we collect
By default, we collect nothing:
- No accounts, so no account data.
- No analytics, so no usage tracking.
- No cookies that track you across sites.
- No forms that store data (the contact/feedback pages are static pages, not submission systems).
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare's network may log standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL) as part of normal web serving, as it does for every website it hosts. We do not access or use this data for profiling.
Local storage
The site may use your browser's local storage or cache for basic functionality such as remembering UI preferences. No personal information is stored.
Third-party services
The site links to no external scripts, fonts or libraries at runtime. Everything — including the OCR engine and language data — is bundled with the site itself.
Changes
If this policy changes, the change will be reflected on this page. Because the architecture is static, the privacy guarantees above are stable by design.
