How to Crop a PDF (Trim Margins & Unwanted Areas)

Cropping removes the edges of a page — white margins, scanner borders, headers — and can make a document dramatically cleaner.

Crop in three steps

1. Open Crop PDF.
2. Choose the PDF.
3. Set the top, right, bottom and left crop values (as percentages of the page), then click CROP.

How percentage-based cropping works

Instead of typing pixel sizes, you remove a percentage from each edge:

• 2% on each side removes typical scanner borders.
• 10% bottom removes a large footer area.
• Percentages scale with page size, so mixed-size documents stay consistent.
